Road Trip to Jogjakarta Part 1

Road Trip to Jogjakarta Part 2

After having dinner at Moro Lejar Restaurant, we directly go to our home – our base camp in Wonosari. There we make a plan for the next destination.

The Beach. Yeayyy!!   \ (^,^) /

Jogjakarta Special Region has four regencies: Sleman (where Mount Merapi is located), Kulon Progo, Bantul, Gunung Kidul (where Wonosari is located). And the beaches we gonna visit located just about an hour to the south of Wonosari.

There are lots of beaches in south of Wonosari, name it: Baron, Sepanjang, Kukup, Drini, Pulang Syawal (Indrayanti) etc

This time we visit only four of them, and spend most of our time in Baron, which is safer for families with kids.

Baron Beach is located to the south of Wonosari. The sand is not white, but people keeping it clean.

This is the view from the angle where a river used to be there.

Honestly, I admire the sky more on that day, it was so blue and the cloud is so white. Traveling always reminds me to be grateful. How small we are compare to this world. Yet somehow you will realize there is something in the universe who always take care of us, this small being.

Something greater, something who always shows a path in every situation of our life.

Is that all?? Naa.. of course not, it’s Saturday night.. we still have lot’s of time to find crowds,

A friend called, ask us to join them at The Deck, a place for people who likes to have chat and pool.. People seemed had known each other.. But don’t know why, we feel it’s not a place for us that night, that’s why we go to Hu’u  🙂 and that’s we called awesome!!

Huu Bali

Huu Bali

Unlike in Jakarta, when you go to a club and have a chat with a stranger, they suddenly expect you to sleep with them,  may be not all, but most of them. Even in a luxury lounge in the centre of Jakarta.. Urge you to decide not to come to that place anymore. But not in Bali, or at least for several places we know,  more polite. You can just come, dance, say hi, have a little chat, drink. and that’s it.  We dance, partying until ummmm  3am?  more or less..  before we go back to Barrida, recharge the energy for the next day 🙂

The next day is having lunch at Warung Sulawesi, what we don’t expect is, it’s kind of Ready to Serve/Fast Food. But one thing for sure, it’s so delicious!

The Food is delicious, and also the Es Pisang Ijo. Don’t forget to order it when you plan to have lunch at this place. Then, we go to Pura Taman Ayun at Mengwi, one of UNESCO World Heritage cultural site.

The Pura is surrounded by water, lake and river. Once you put your feet inside.. The calmness of green grass will embrace you.. The sound of water.. the bird ..la la la… Can’t tell you for more, you must feel it by yourself.. 😉

If it’s not because of the rain, we may stay there longer than we expected. Time to go.. We rushed back downtown to find a place called Lello Lello Gelato at Kayu Aya 21, Seminyak.

WoW!! Lots of choices, Not only Dark Chocolates, Vanila or Strawberry.. but also Dragon Fruit! Next time, we will visit this place for more..

Still, Chocolates is my favorite.. Yummmm..

Damn.. why I don’t see this – look so yummy ice cream – before?? Should I go back to Bali just for it?
